サンビームコースは低学年（5歳～）からの初心者向けで、フォニックス（発音法）と基本的な単語の読み書き方法を学習することに重点を置いています。コースはすべて英語で行われますが、簡単な単語を使用し、ゆっくりとしたスピードで進めていきます。
お子様が動画を見ながら、次に何をどうしたらいいかを手助けする、視覚的なアニメーションなどもたくさんあります。

Absolutely. The Sunbeam course is for beginners of a young age and focuses on teaching letter sounds and how to read and write basic words. The course is entirely in English but uses simple language and a slow speed.  There’s also lots of visual instruction as part of the video to help students understand what they need to do.

コースを購入すると、すべての動画レッスンが利用できるようになります。
なるべくコースを急いで一気に終わらせないことをお勧めします。
動画には学習効果を強化するため、繰り返しの表現が含まれており、前回の動画レッスンの学習後は、少し間を開けてから、また次の動画レッスンをしていただくとより効果的です。
当英会話スクールのお子様は、月4回の通常レッスンと月2回、宿題として動画レッスンを受講していただいています。
お子様が他に英語に触れることがない場合は、週に1回の動画レッスンの学習が適切なペースとなります。

It’s up to you! After purchasing the course all lessons will be available to you. However, we recommend not rushing through the course. The lessons have some repetition to reinforce learning and are more effective if you leave some time between lessons.

Students at our school do two lessons a month for their homework. If your child isn’t exposed to English at any other time, one lesson a week is a good pace.

当英会話スクールのお子様は、5 歳で サンビームコースを始め、7 歳で次のコースに進みます。ただし、今までの英語学習の経験や能力、始めた時期などによって異なります。

お子様が英語のフォニックス（文字の音）についての知識がなく、
簡単な単語を読むことができない場合でも、サンビームコースの学習効果を十分に得るこができます。

Students at our school start Sunbeam when they’re five years old and move onto the next course when they’re seven. The course was designed with these ages in mind.

However, ability is an important factor. If your child has no knowledge of English letter sounds (not the letter names) and can’t read simple words, they can still benefit from the Sunbeam course.   

このサンビームの動画レッスンでは、書くことに集中しすぎる必要はありません。
ほとんどの場合、慣れの問題であり、子供が成長するにつれて自然に習得していきます。
どうしても上手く書けない場合は、様子を見てもう少し年齢が上がってから、再度チャレンジして頂ければと思います。
たとえ上手く書けなかったとしても、動画レッスンを終えたことだけでも素晴らしいチャレンジですので、お子様をぜひ褒めてあげてください。

Focusing too much on handwriting is not necessary at this stage of learning. Mostly it’s a motor control problem that children will self-correct as they get older. Some students will have specific writing difficulties that need to be addressed when they’re a little older.

Please praise your child for completing the lesson even if their writing is messy!
